Downsizing to a condo is great idea because it saves you money in utility bills, property taxes, and home maintence costs.  Condos often include very desirable amenities like a pool, fitness room, and game room, all of which you do not have to worry about upkeep. You can also forget the dread of picking up a snow shovel or mowing the lawn. If something breaks, just call the office and a maintanence man will assist you. These aspects of condo living save you time and money. There is no doubt in my mind that you rather spend your time admiring Lake Tahoe's saphire waters and sandy beaches.
