Lake Tahoe Real Estate-Why Nevada Urges California Business to Relocate

Many entrepeneurs have wondered when California is going to become more business freindly. Nevada's answer is never. The Nevada Development Authority, (NDA), is once again trying to lure businesses from the Golden State, which has been notorious for its high-cost, highly regulated business climate. Although many businesses stayed anchored in California because of its huge consumer base, great weather and dynamic entrepeneurial culture, a tough economy has forced so many companies to cut costs. Lloyd Greif, chairman of Los Angelos County Economic Development Corp., even said that, "this has gotten to the point where we are lagging behind other states where it counts." Nevada has a good point in why a California business would want to move there. Nevada has no corporate or personal income tax, no inventory tax, and lower worker's compensation costs. In fact, According to NDA,a light- industrial facillity that costs $405,478 a year to operate in Las Vegas would cost $625,774 to operate in Los Angelos County. The moral of the story here is that if you cannot survive the California business climate, you can always move next door.
